In order to rectify this history of inequity, the needs of the Black community must be met where they have been previously unmet. We are creating new systems that empower and center the Black Vermonters once denied equal access to public or private economic and other opportunity. Located central to those it serves, the Richard Kemp Center is a Community and Youth Activity Center and an Arts and Science Center of Excellence. This is a perfect location to host wellness, youth, cultural empowerment, economic development and other community empowerment activities.
Cultural presentations, commemorations and celebrations, and arts activities are all welcome for hosting at the Richard Kemp Center. Activities related to personal wellness and development, small business support and wealth management, mentoring, homework assistance, spiritual and emotional support and group discussions are often hosted in the Richard Kemp Center.
This is a safe and welcoming space to host your community events, workshops, or meetings.
