This year we completed Phase I of the Growing Homes Initiative where we offered space to learn, grow and heal from racial trauma while pursuing economic empowerment and striving towards home ownership. This culminated with a "House Party" where we provided a one-stop-shop for prospective buyers who have been historically underserved. We also launched our amazing Race, Identity, Culture and History (R.I.C.H.) initiative this year. R.I.C.H. offers partnership and support to Black and Brown, bi-racial or transracially adopted youth. We are receiving incredibly encouraging feedback from our partners.
This year the Richard Kemp Center assisted community members with various challenges with housing, public accommodation and workforce and business development. We connected with dozens of community members through advocacy, direct services and referrals. Please support the work of the Richard Kemp Center.
